I received this case for Christmas just past and on its second journey and first proper long haul flight the case has broken in three places. I contacted American tourister via email and phone and was told that the ten year warranty that comes with the case doesn't cover transit damage. Which is confusing because when else would a warranty be needed for luggage? I am very disappointed as when I received this case I thought it was meant to be one of the best brands out there but now owning one that is now broken after minimal use and being told to basically just deal with it isn't very impressive.

I purchased the STARVIBE LARGE (77 cm) online for my honeymoon trip to Europe. While the luggage itself seemed spacious and sturdy, I'm incredibly disappointed with the handle. Unfortunately, after just a few flights, the handle became difficult to maneuver and pull/push. It seems it may have been bent out of shape through the lugguage handling through flights. But, I do not understand how the handle of the luggage is so easy to break. For a luggage costing over $250, I expected much better durability. A broken handle significantly impacts usability and makes traveling a hassle.
